Great Bag

This pack has a great amount of storage and has been holding up nicely. I use it for work every day to carry my laptop, notebook, a few tools, chargers, emergency meds... everything I need.

So much space

I got this to replace one with a broken zipper. Warranty was easy and replacement is strong and roomy, just like the 1st one that lasted for years. My son used old one through most of Elementary school and now has this 1 starting 7th grade. Hopefully the last bookbag we'll get.

Great bag, great Lifetime Guarantee!

I reached out to see if my ancient backpack could get the zipper pulls replaced-that and some slight abrasions on the zipper teeth- the only major wear after being in heavy use since the mid 90s! I was sad the original was not available, but was game to try this one, which OP comped me in exchange for the old pack.

I must say, this thing is a monster! Enormous capacity and so many zippered areas! Really have to think about what I put in there, as I could actually pack so much in this that I wouldn't really be able to carry it, lol. It took a few months of occasional use to get use to the many compartments, but I like this pack a lot. I do wish the main compartment would zip all the way open, and that there would have been two sets of compression straps; the chest strap is handy, but with the elastic, i imagine that that part will wear out soon. I suppose you can't have everything, eh? This will work for personal item only baggage even though the dimensions are a little bit for Spirit, as long as you don't fill it, you'll be able to manage to squeeze it in no problem. Also, was able to easily swallow a bike helmet and then some on my work commutes. I like that there's a padded computer compartment and a smaller soft fuzzy pocket for delicate electronics/eyeglasses. Aside from the chest strap, I imagine that this bag will easily see me through for a couple decades at least!

Great quality that will be put to the test

I ordered this pack almost 2 years ago before the pandemic hit for a cross country trip. I prepped my bag & found it to hold more than enough for my needs. Well since all plans were put on hold with the Pandemic I will finally get to use it very soon on a cross country trip. The bag has been sitting stuffed with my equipment & supplies all this time & it still looks new & in excellent condition. I think its a winner for the price. I'll follow up when I return & have put it to the real world outdoor test. Rocky mountains here I come.

My Third OP Pack

This is not really a review for THIS specific pack, as I have not yet used it--I only just ordered it. But I wanted to sing the praises of Outdoor Products backpacks. I've owned two before, & one of the zippers just died on the current pack, which I've had for almost 8 years. When I needed to replace my first pack, I had forgotten about the lifetime guarantee, but miraculously found the paperwork. So my second bag (a Power Pack 3.0 to replace an earlier version) was free for the cost of sending OP my old bag. The bag I'm replacing is my day-to-day work bag (I'm a teacher) & travel bag (it's seen quite a lot of miles). These are great computer bags & general backpacks--very versatile, lots of pockets & compartments.

I could, yet again, take advantage of OP's *very* generous lifetime guarantee, & get yet another free backpack. But you know what? I believe in these products enough, & I appreciate this company enough, that I'm not doing so--I just straight-up bought the new bag. And how lucky was I that it happened to be 20% off the very day I needed to order it? I mean, you just can't beat the price.

As an FYI to anyone considering buying an OP backpack: That lifetime guarantee is for real. Plus, I found OP very easy to work with when I wanted to use that guarantee to replace my first bag, way back in 2013. So just know that you can depend on these products, & if they do wear out (& they take a beating), OP will honor that guarantee without hassle or delay.
