I reached out to see if my ancient backpack could get the zipper pulls replaced-that and some slight abrasions on the zipper teeth- the only major wear after being in heavy use since the mid 90s! I was sad the original was not available, but was game to try this one, which OP comped me in exchange for the old pack.
I must say, this thing is a monster! Enormous capacity and so many zippered areas! Really have to think about what I put in there, as I could actually pack so much in this that I wouldn't really be able to carry it, lol. It took a few months of occasional use to get use to the many compartments, but I like this pack a lot. I do wish the main compartment would zip all the way open, and that there would have been two sets of compression straps; the chest strap is handy, but with the elastic, i imagine that that part will wear out soon. I suppose you can't have everything, eh? This will work for personal item only baggage even though the dimensions are a little bit for Spirit, as long as you don't fill it, you'll be able to manage to squeeze it in no problem. Also, was able to easily swallow a bike helmet and then some on my work commutes. I like that there's a padded computer compartment and a smaller soft fuzzy pocket for delicate electronics/eyeglasses. Aside from the chest strap, I imagine that this bag will easily see me through for a couple decades at least!
