I got this backpack to use for school about a year ago. It has worked great. It holds all I need it to and a little more(maybe an extra outfit). The organization section is great for holding pens/pencils, calculators, etc. I have used this once or twice for overnight trips. As a minimalist I can get by with only this bag, but I would not recommend going on trips longer than one night. It’s enough for me, it does what is advertised and it does it well. I like the design, specifically the hidden through hole for a hydration reservoir hose. One thing to note though: The zipper broke after a few months. One pull came off one of the sides of the main compartment and that side became pulled out of the base of the bag. I believe this was due to trying to overstuff it with school supplies. The function is not affected though; it still fully closes and is in no way different. Wearing it is comfortable even overloaded like every American student’s is, and when I took it hiking it was breathable and not in the way like some others probably are. It’s advertised as a day pack; this is accurate. Overall a great backpack for its purpose.
