I had an Outdoor Product day pack for about 20 years and contacted Outdoor Product when it got worn out. Customer service was excellent and they replaced my day pack with the Ripcord Hydration Pack. I am pleased with this pack because it has chest and waist belts. This provides stability for the many miles I walk every day. The padding between the bag and my back and the padding on the shoulder straps provide a comfortable fit.

I have own mine for over 10 years, and only now have a small rip on the zipper, my bad over packed. Able to carry everything for a mountain bike ride, snowshoe and cross country ski trip. I add a compression sack for clothes to layer. I also use outdoors small fanny pack for personal gear. I purchased my at Walmart for less than $20. I own 4 outdoors product packs, this one I'd buy again.

This is such a reliable bag. Ive used mine for years and have taken it on probably hundreds of outings. You would be surprised at absolutely how much this pack actually holds, both water wise as well as other items. The expandable quick mesh pocket is perfect for fitting even a large sweatshirt. would definitely recommend this bag and now that I've worn mine to hell and back, will definitely be getting a new one.

I have to give this product from Outdoor Products two thumbs up for building such a durable and well thought out hydration bag. The pockets are will built and have of room for the basics needed for a short 5 to 12 mile ride in the Arizona desert. I have used it for well over a year now with no problems with the pocket zippers, or bag material. The hydration bag hold 2 liters of water and is easy to get in and out of it's compartment and it stays upright without using the velcro holiding strap. The bite valve can be turned off for transportation to tailhead, so you don't loose water before you get there. As hydration bags go, for the size, quality, and price point, it is a bargain.
